Sole can be reached by public transport. The stop recommended is Olberg in Noresund as it is a short walk from the hotel. We also recommend checking Entur or Vy close to your travel date for the most up-to-date information as these might change. We also reccomend ridesharing with someone you know
Please share your travel itinerary with Torden or Zangy. We do offer to shuttle you from Sokna or hønefoss if you are unable to make it all the way to the hotel. The shuttle is free of charge, but do give us a notice ahead of time
If you are travelling from Oslo Airport (Gardermoen), the most reliable option is usually to first travel to Oslo city center (Oslo S), and continue from there. The total travel time from Oslo is approximately 2.5–3 hours, depending on connections
On Sunday, we will shuttle everyone to Hønefoss, so we need to know your departure time to ensure you reach the bus or train on time. (We recommend: not booking very early flights on Sunday)
Travel from Oslo to Hønefoss with Bus 200, then transfer to Bus 241 towards Norefjell / Olberg. (Note: Bus 241 operates on weekdays only).
Night departure:
On Saturdays, the available service is Bus VY170, which arrives in Sokna. This option requires a shuttle from Sokna to the hotel.
09:40 Oslo → 11:05 Sokna (Bus VY170)
15:05 Oslo → 16:30 Sokna (Bus VY170)
21:40 Oslo → 00:00 Sokna (Bus VY170)
IMPORTANT!
On Sunday, we will need to shuttle everyone from Noresund to Hønefoss or nearby city with public transport.
Please contact Torden or Zangy in advance with your departure plans so we can arrange the shuttle and ensure you reach your connection on time. If you are able to rideshare with a friend let us know.
From Hønefoss bus terminal, Bus 200 departs from hønefoss to Oslo bus terminal at following hours:
