Welcome back to Sole Gjestegård!

We are excited to return to Sole Gjestegård for another year of Anthros & Alpine. With the fireplace lounge, indoor pool, main stage, and plenty of activity spaces both indoors and outdoors, we aim to make good use of what Sole has to offer. Whether you joined us last year or you are attending for the first time, get ready for more activities, events, and even better alpine experiences!

The hotel stay includes full board, meaning all meals are included in the price.

  • Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner buffet, dessert, coffee & tea are all included in the price. 
    and covers everything you’ll need throughout your stay. Price does not include drinks or snacks.
  • The bar offers a good selection of drinks and several cocktails and other refreshments
  • A selection of rooms, from single, double, to quads and family-rooms
  • Large venue for activities, chill spaces and a cozy top loft with a gorgeous view of the mountain
  • Relax in the indoor swimming pool located inside the hotel

Arriving by Car

Sole is easy to reach by car and offers free parking on site for all guests. There are supercharging stations nearby if you are arriving by electric car. There is no charger at the hotel

Public transport

Sole can be reached by public transport. The stop recommended is Olberg in Noresund as it is a short walk from the hotel.  We also recommend checking Entur or Vy close to your travel date for the most up-to-date information as these might change. We also reccomend ridesharing with someone you know

Sunday departure 

On Sunday, there will be a bus from the hotel to Gardermoen Airport. The bus will depart from Sole at 11:30.

Please note that a payment is required to use the bus. The journey may take a couple of hours, depending on road and weather conditions, so we recommend booking your flight accordingly.

If you need alternative transportation or have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Zangy to arrange transport.

Travel from Oslo to Hønefoss with Bus 200, then transfer to Bus 241 towards Norefjell / Olberg. (Note: Bus 241 operates on weekdays only).

  • 07:15 Oslo → 07:45 Hønefoss (Bus 200) → 08:15 Hønefoss → 08:43 Olberg (Bus 241)
  • 12:40 Oslo → 13:55 Hønefoss (Bus 200) → 14:00 Hønefoss → 14:45 Olberg (Bus 241)

This is Anthros & Alpine

Anthros & Alpine is a winter furry convention arranged at Norefjell – setting the record of Scandinavia’s largest elevation difference, with a vertical drop of 1,010 metres from summit to base! Join us for a mix of alpine activities, social dinners, late-night karaoke, games and a lively atmosphere.

Our third year will be happening from January 14th to 17th , with early arrival available on Wednesday, January 13th. Registration opens on September 5th with possibility to pay for your ticket at a later date.
Note: Tickets bought and paid before September 30th will get an early bird discount!

We are also offering even more options this year; including discounted ski rental, a Sunday departure shuttle to the airport and budget rooms!

Fursuits, Skis & Snowboards

Get ready to shred the 30 varied slopes at Norefjell, where you can also bring your fursuit! Join your fellow furries and enjoy days of skiing and snowboarding, facilitated for all skill levels. Afterwards you can warm yourself up in our heated pool or lounge at the bar.

Don’t know how to ski but want to learn?
We have our own volunteer ski instructors available to assist you, and we even host group sessions for those wanting to improve their skills.

Afterski!
We are excited to be having multiple DJs performing on stage, and a variety of fun activities in the evening throughout the convention. The coveted poker tournament is also returning for another year, join in and win prizes!
